Account Manager, NGS
Reporting to: NGS Sales Director, APAC/ Regional Sales Manager, East China
Position Scope:
Identify and contact prospective clients, generate sales opportunities, and service existing accounts to achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for the sale of NGS (next generation sequencing) products in the assigned sales area.
2.Ensure that NGS products are represented in the territory in order to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
3.Develop and explore business opportunities in the territory.
4.Prepare sales forecast report both quarterly and yearly with high accuracy.
5.Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
6.Drive and initiate development of new business opportunities and references.
7.Increase sales by actively selling and developing tactical plans to maximize revenues.
8.Organization of meetings or other communication channels to ensure effective communication across functional units.
9.Collect and provide market information to marketing peers.
10.Detailed technical explanation of defined products and application in seminars and exhibitions.
Education/Experience:
1.Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or up in a scientific discipline (Biology related major).
2.At least 4+ years related relevant experience in life science industry.
3.Excellent communication skill to deal with the scientific communication with customers.
4.Good presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
5.Knowledge base of informatics/Genomics
6.The ability to build, maintain and nurture long-term relationships with customers.
7.Good track record of successful sales experience in high competitive, complex capital instrument sales
