Summary of Position

The position is located in Shanghai, China. The role is responsible for managing the proposal, project and overall support activities of medium to large projects within his/her functional area. Manages and trains network/users. Decisions have moderate to high impact on near-term business results.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University graduate with a degree. In computer science or information system
  • The position requires that the candidate should have at least 5 years’ IT experience preferably in multinational company.
  • Have interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with internal and external personnel, strong spoken and written skills in English.
  • The candidate should be service oriented, proactive and with high sense of business process mindset.
  • To lead directions setting for internal network engineering and user support areas.
  • Lead 12 to 18 months of planning.
  • Manage the proposal, project and overall support activities of medium to large projects.
  • Assure that available resources are effectively applied to meet business requests.
  • Be able to achieve high customer satisfaction through professional and efficient IT services.
  • Be able to understand business models and to establish and maintain cost effective IT solutions.
  • To implement and standardize processes and policies based on country/regional requirements.
  • To ensure be in compliance with all relevant global/regional IT computing standards and methodologies.
  • Be able to manage IT operation with minimum management guidance.
  • Be a team leader but also a team member.

Hard Skills

The position entails responsibility for the following:

  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure, security systems, Windows client/server systems.
  • Manage/perform network and system upgrades, ensuring all systems run without unplanned downtime.
  • Experience in Workflow management system, data warehouse.  ERP is a definite advantage.
  • Supervise and/or perform hands-on fixes at server and desktop level.
