Responsibilities:

1.         Lead the Production and Maintenance teams to achieve production, yield and quality KPI targets.

2.         Interface with Planning,Quality, Sales, Logistics and other departments for on-schedule production delivery to customers.

3.         Handle the different aspects of material management and planning towards production efficiency.

4.         Resolve production related and operational issues to achieve win-win situations.

5.         Ensure conformance to critical processing parameters and safety at the production floor.

6.         Plan regular machine maintenance schedules to minimize machine downtime.

7.         Prepare annual budget . Monitor closely all factory operating costs and work within the assigned budget.

8.         Implement and execute effective  cost-saving activities and wastage reduction programmes.

9.         Train existing and new production personnel to achieve production KPI targets.

Requirements:

1.         Minimum Degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or industrial Engineering or its equivalent.

2.         At least 5 years experience in manufacturing operations, preferably from Electric Cable industry.

3.         Good technical skills and proven track record in shopfloor improvenment tools.

4.         Proactive and able to work independently.

5.         people-oriented and able to work as a team and able to movtivate staff to achieve high targets and make sustainable continuous shopfloor improvement.

6.         Proficient in English and Mandarin.

7.         Computer literate MS office, SAP with added advantage.
