Quality Manager

Responsibilities & Duties:

To lead and manage the Quality Dept of Transport BU.

1.         In Detail

2.         To set the Quality Mission and Target of Transport BU.

3.         To establish, maintain and audit the quality system according to TS 169494 and any other quality standards.

4.         To organize internal, process, product and customers’ audit as well as ensure the effectiveness of corrective actions.

5.         Participate in project management of APQP, Control Plan and PFMEA analysis and provide PPAP as requested by customers.

6.         Prepare the quality check instruction as well as organize and maintain the CIQ system.

7.         To apply statistical analysis for continuous process improvement.

8.         Handle customer’s complaint and preparation of 8D/5 WHY reports.

9.         Co-operate with Purchasing Dept to perform quality audit on suppliers.

10.     Liaise with other department to resolve quality and process issues.

11.     To train the Quality Engineer, Quality Inspectors.

12.     Special assignment from time to time.

Education/Career Knowledge:

1.              College or University graduate in Engineering/Economic or equivalent

2.              Minimum 3 years working experience in quality management, preferable in wire & cable industry

3.              Familiar with TS 16949, QS9000, ISO9000 and VDA6.1 quality system

4.              Able to write and speak English

5.              Well verse in MS Office software
