Regional Manager or Project Manager GPA Shanghai, Primary Responsibilities

 1.         • Assess, Identify & develop potential capable suppliers for various B&D products (i.e. power tool, outdoor & home product…etc.)

2.         • Work with suppliers in developing cost BOM & costing structure

 3.         • Work with B&D project teams in sourcing & developing products, attachments and components with world class cost

 4.         • Work with Suppliers and Quality Engineers in developing Product Quality Plan, In-process control plan, Capacity/Lead Time Plan & Ramp-up plan to ensure smooth bulk production and continuous Quality DPMO reduction

5.         • Work with Suppliers and Supply Chain coordinators to ensure 98% & above service level

6.         • Work with Suppliers on payment term improvement & Lead Time reduction

 7.         • Drive 7% annual productivity through value improvement, process improvement & negotiations

 8.         • Manage & Own the Supplier Relationship; Keep up Suppliers’ scorecard

 9.         • 50% & above travel requiredCo

Competencies & Skills

1.         • Knowledge/Experience of general power tool related manufacturing processes (i.e. injection moulding, die casting, machining, gearing, powder metal, heat treating, stamping, motor…etc.)

 2.         • Knowledge/Experience of Quality Engineering (inspection, gauging, metrology, testing…etc.)

3.         • Good knowledge of supply chain & 6 Sigma tool is definitely a plus

4.         • Good commend of the spoken / written English

5.         • Strong PC skills - MS Word/Excel/Power Point and Internet

 6.         • Comfortable in working with a wide range of people – International project team members & suppliers’ plant manager above positions

7.         • Excellent communication, Interpersonal & Effective negotiation skills

8.         • Teamwork orientated, Self-motivated & able to Work Independently

9.         • Organization, Time & Pressure management skill

10.     • High morale with excellent work ethic and attitude

11.     Knowledge & Experience: 

12.     Minimum 4 years’ experiences in Manufacturing, Quality & International Sourcing

13.     Experience on power tools, machinery, is preferable

14.     • Minimum BS ME/EE/IE or equivalent with demonstrated Manufacturing/Quality Experiences
