Supply Chain Specialist

Coordinating orders between suppliers and customers;

Receive orders from customers,

calculate new orders, release orders to suppliers, and communicate with suppliers on forecastCommunicate with customers and suppliers on shipment detailsCommunicate with freight forwarders to follow up shipments (logistics function)Maintain good relationship with suppliersSystem set up, e.g. Info Record, Source List in SAP;

Work closely with Purchasing Engineers / Project Manager;

Verify product detailAd hoc issue coordination when problems arise at supplier’s sideMaintain Strike Rate >98.5% to meet corporate goal;

Assist the Account Department to smoothen their daily operation by ensuring accuracy in invoices and documents;

Supplier visit may be required.

Competencies & Skills

Proficiency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese;

Good communication skills;

Computer literate;

Requirements

Minimum University degree holder and BBA, SupplyChain, Logistics or Int’l Trade major is preferable.At least 5 years trading experience in handling orders, expediting shipments and, coordination with vendorsand customers.
