Main Responsibilities

Ø Define roles andresponsibilities and recruit staff for the development team

Ø Ensure work breakdown andresource requirements are defined in appropriate detail to guarantee executionexcellence, as well as effective status tracking

Ø Work with the project team todevelop a Plan and Schedule that fully integrates the interdependent activitiesto coordinate team members and ensure progress.

Ø Conduct risk analysis and testassumptions so that team members own and fully support realistic commitmentsfor schedule, scope and budget.

Ø Communicate the projectassumptions, requirements and priorities to ensure that the team adheres toexpectations of sponsors and key stakeholders. .

Ø Lead by influence. Develop andimplement expectations for collaborative, effective decision making, clearcommunications, timely issue resolution, and risk management.

Ø Provide regular project updatesto management including presentation of plans, risks and performance metrics toestablished targets.

Ø Strengthen PKI EnvironmentalHealth project management tools, templates, and processes as appropriate anddevelop/gain support on recommendations for continued project managementimprovement.

Ø Participate in opportunisticprojects, representing the PMO within the company business as required.


Job Requirements :

Ø 5+ years of experience in ananalytical or diagnostic instrument related industry; science – based industryor laboratory automation experience a plus.

Ø Demonstrated ability to succeedin a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantlychanging priorities and deadlines.

Ø Bachelor’s degree in atechnical field required, advanced degree preferred.

Ø 5+ years minimum recent programor project management experience

Ø Project Management ProfessionalCertification or commitment to pursue within 12 months

Ø Experience working with andguiding highly technical staff (scientists, engineers).

Ø Ability to travel domestically(2-3 times per quarter) and internationally (2-3 times per year).

Ø Excellent communication -written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Ø Excellent team building skills

Ø Advance knowledge in the MSOffice suite of applications, especially Microsoft Project, Excel andPowerPoint required.
